Soler continues to make history with Spain

The midfielder has been in sensational form to begin the season

Carlos Soler's scoring form continued this past Sunday, as he made history with Spain. After having got off the mark on his full international debut against Sweden, he repeated the feat in his second appearance for the national team, against Georgia.

A statistic published by data collector MisterChip reveals that the VCF Academy product is only the second player to score in his first two games for Spain, after Mundo in 1942.

With his goal against Georgia, the midfielder has scored in all five official games he has played this season.

Soler found the net against Getafe CF, Granada CF and Deportivo Alavés in LaLiga for Valencia CF, followed by his 2022 World Cup Qualifying strikes against Sweden and Georgia during the international break.
